This app is promoted and advertised with the compelling feature that it will print labels. Please allow me to provide some clarification to this claim. The Order Printer app does NOT print traditional sheets of adhesive address labels. More specifically, I have the standard 8.5"x11" sheets with 30 adhesive address labels per sheet. I wrote the HTML for my own custom template designed to fit the label sheets I use. However, the Order Printer app won't populate the customer's shipping information into the labels appropriately. Instead of inserting customer 1 on label 1, customer 2 on label 2 (and so on, etc.), the Order Printer app inserts customer 1 into all 30 address labels and then creates a second page where customer 2 is inserted into all 30 address labels (and so on, etc.). Shopify support has informed me that the Order Printer app was not designed to work the way I'm intending to use it. Which begs the question, why promote this app with the #2 selling point of "prints labels?" And why promote that the app allows the creation of custom templates if there are limitations to the customization? In an attempt to remain somewhat objective towards this app, it will print labels as advertised... just one label at a time... a single label for a single customer that consumes an entire 8.5"x11" sheet of paper. Not very efficient.

The address area would be better if it was always in the same place so that when folded it shows in the address windows of typical parcel packaging. Also the address, when printed, does not show as it does when displayed on screen. It would be better to have adress1 and adress2 lines appear on separate lines in the printed invoice as they do when displayed on the screen. For most people what they bought is the most important thing, but the area of the invoice printer allowed for this is too small, so that any multiple items on the order end up flowing onto another page. I have made some changes to the code to get closer to what I need. As a free add on it's great, but I will be looking for something more functional.

It's been wonderful until lately it has been quite glitchy. We have contact Shopify about this issue. Sometime it decides not to recognize that we have already downloaded the app, when I to from an order to print an invoice it takes me to the app store. Annoying when you have as many orders a day as we do. It has also been occassionaly printing the wrong invoice, meaning we hit print on the order and it prints another order. This has happened enough times for us to call Shopify and let them know. Aside from that it is a great addition to the website and helps manage everything in a neater fashion. We do enjoy this app but hope they fix these issues so that it works as well as it used to.

Loved this app until it hasn't worked for us on our iPad for over a week, and we opened 2 support tickets with no assistance. Anyone have anything that worked to get it to print from the iPad? It works on the computer, but we are a store front, and employees don't have a computer in our store every day. We've always printed from the iPad and for the last week+ the iPad gives an error message that says Oops! There was a problem loading Order Printer. I've tried clearing cache/cookies, uninstalling and reinstalling, and those tricks worked for my computer but not the iPad. Any assistance would be wonderful! Thanks!

Am I not using this properly, or is "order printer" the most barebones receipt/pack slip program ever? It doesn't make your store look cute or polished. How has Shopify in today's day and age not created an easy program where you can place your logo etc. on the forms? This is a basic shopify need - not something we should be paying a monthly fee for with some other app in the shopify app store - and also it's something a developer at HQ could make look good and be user friendly in no time flat.
